MACH 2: THE PROSTHETICS OF ANIMAL AND MACHINE Mach
2 instigates the erasure of boundaries, even in no-fly zones,
due to its compact singular-size. The wearer of a Mach 2 controls his
or her relational and gravitational destiny. It is a full body extension:
communicating, collecting and cleaning water, growing food, lighting the
way, protecting, enclosing, and keeping the user safe from externalities.
With wheels for legs, wings for arms, a figurehead and braided language
translator, it still continues to fly faster than sound speed while motion
sensors deter air-accidents.

Mach number is the number of times the speed of sound an object or a duct, or the fluid medium itself, move relative to each other. It is named after Austrian physicist and philosopher Ernst Mach.
True
airspeed (TAS) is the speed of an aircraft relative to the airmass in
which it flies, i.e. the magnitude of the vector difference of the velocity
of the aircraft and the velocity of the air. Under zero wind conditions
and in horizontal flight, this is equal to the speed over the ground.
Under wind conditions an estimation of the wind is used to make a windspeed
vector calculation that computes an estimated ground speed from the true
air speed and a wind correction angle to maintain the desired ground track. |
